How cone they didn't do that to me?

At the banquet, last years school year before I graduated, I saw everyone there and one of the students was giving out awards. But that's not the point, when their friends came in, they said hi to them and give them hugs, but they didn't do that when I came in. When I came in, they just looked at me and some of them gave me looks. Then when I got my award, nobody applauded for me, but they applauded for this other girl that accepted the same award, and pushed me out of the way to hug her. I was just astonished! Then it got emotional and of course and everyone was crying and giving everyone hugs, especially the seniors. They did even hug me! NOT ONE PERSON DID. Wait, I take that back, a few people did, but they push me out the way to hug their other friends. I don't get it! It's like they don't like me and couldn't way for me to leave!
