Why can't Science and God coexist?

Your whole question word for word could have been written by me. I think that they can of course coexist. I don't believe the bible stories either but I do believe in scientific evidence and I do believe supernatural things as well. There will always be such a debate on this and I will never really grasp it I hope you do!
