Doesn't the casino get an edge when you count cards at blackjack?

If you're counting cards and the count becomes high, doesn't the house have a good chance of beating you also since there are more face cards and aces left in the deck/shoe? Doesn't that mean the house could also get a strong hand while you get a weaker one or push?
