I am writing an MLA citation for a book I am using for a research paper. Instructions I have looked up seem to indicate that it is usually best to go with the most prominently featured place of publication. My book says "The Viking Press - New York" in big letters on the title page, but in fine print on the backside of that page it says "Printed in Great Britain by Butler & Tanner Ltd, Frome and London". It feels sensible to go with the UK because that appears to be the actual place of printing. I guess New York was the base of the publisher at the time of publication though.

Interesting question.... I put the Maverick 88 side by side with a Mossberg 500 Persuader (20 inch barrell # 50577) and there is practicaly NO difference. The safety was in a different place but thats about it..... The barrels interchange as well as the stock. I do know the trigger group and foregrips on the Maverick 88 are not interchangable with the 500 but thats about it..... They are basicaly the same gun but the Maverick 88 is the economy version.... From a couple of feet away you actualy cant tell them apart..... I own the Mossberg 500 Persuader 20 inch barrel model and paid $299 for mine.... I am most certain the 88 is just as fine a shotgun as the 500. The only reason I grabbed the 500 is because I found it first at the sporting goods store..... Consider NO other shotgun in the $250 or less range.... DO NOT consider those NEF or Daly shotguns.... The Mossberg has a proven track record for being a decent reliable firearm.. Load your shotgun with 2 3/4 inch 9 pellet 00 buckshot or 2 3/4 inch slugs for defense. DO NOT Load your shotgun with 3 inch cartridges... The recoil is real obnoxious. 3 Inch cartridges are fine for hunting but not home defense. They kick to hard and will over your target. You have a right to protect your family -- You do not have a right to endanger your neighbors...... The only thing I have ever heard negative about the Maverick is its not quite as heavy duty as the Persuader Criusers... A friend of mine goes up to the gun club with me and has put hundred and hundreds of rounds thru his 88 as I have thru mine (Presuader) and we have not found that to be the case... For a home defense / security weapon you cannot go wrong!... The Maverick 88 is a fine shotgun and is the most worthy shotgun to own in that price range.....

That is true and thats the problem. If there is moer water in the desert, there are more predators that would kill of the animals that live in the desert. More water would mean more herbivores to eat the desert plants. The faster growing plants would out compete the slow growing desert plants. Plus California does not have the water to spare to make Hydrogen. Ever since I heard about Hydrogen fuel for automobiles, I was against it. Electric cars make more sense. TO make Hydrogen fuel according to current technology, you need to convert some sort of energy source into electricity. THen you need to convert electricity into making Hydrogen. You lose energy converting electricity into Hydrogen. The people supporting this try to mislead the public into thinking it's a new energy source. It is not. THere is no Hydrogen mine . We still need to use the old methods to make electricity to make the Hydrogen. Granted, putting up more wind turbine might help, and my least favorite , nuclear reactors. As for water being a greenhouse gas, thats disputed. Some think that clouds reflect light back to space while others think that clouds reflect heat back to earth. I doubt it would be significant, since cloud cover is more dependent on heat. Also another intersting note, Energy efficient engines like the ones that are advertising by GE, is actually create more greenhouse effect than energy wasting engines. The GE engine does not generate as much heat and the water vapors turn into clouds that causes the greenhouse effect. The energy wasting engines generate more heat and the water vapor totally evaporates.

I have slight seasonal allergies with causes post-nasal drip (PND). My throat had some mucus that had aculated and after that had cleared I felt slight congestion in my chest. What's wrong with my computer!!? Blue Screen, Unexpected Shutdowns, Websites coming up that arent suppose to..?

Ok, I am on my girlfriends computer. She has an HP Pavillion DV9000. Vista Premium on it. Yesterday she got the "Blue Screen of Death" So I tried to start it up multiple of times, wouldnt work. Then I decided to go into safe mode... Works fine, I ran McAfee Antivirus and F-Secure Online antivuris scanner. Found minor things & fixed them.. Didnt work. So I "TRIED" to download spybot search and destroy, some reason it wont dowload. then I tried to download spyware doctor wouldnt update which it said it needed to be able to update in order to work, I also ran registry mechanic, advanced system care, Spyware Terminator, Ad-Aware, CCcleaner, Auslogics Boostspeed and NOTHING has seemed to work. I restart the computer and it will let me start windows without safe mode, BUT with problems, Either my internet connection wont work, or it suddenly shuts down.. Sometimes i will restart and it will go on the logon screen then shut down again. Also when i say websites come up that arent suppose to, its not like they pop up.. If i type something in google it doesnt take me to the website I try to go to, it takes me to a bunch of other ones, but they stay in the same window... I see something under my all programs called DigitalHQ so I googled it and it seems to be a malware or whatever, I tried to remove the registry's still nothing. I deleted the program and nothing, I REALLY REALLY dont want to reformat it, That will be my LAST resort, so I would greatly appreciate any help you can give! Thanks!

I fell on my knee and it feels like something is popping.?

8 days ago I was running on my carpet, tripped, and landed on my knee. It really hurt but it felt like any other fall. Later I went to a kickboxing cl. When I got home my knee was swollen and hurt really bad. I iced it for like 5 days straight, elevated it, and took ibuprofen. Now, 8 days later, it's really bruised and I have a big scab. I can't run, jump, or walk a lot. When I touch my knee cap it feels strange and there's like popping stuff. It also does it when I bend my knee and I can feel it on the inside. Weird dream about time and Youtube?

Last Thursday 3/31 I had this weird dream that I was on youtube looking in the comments section of a video. I don't know what video it was and I was focused on the timestamp of the comments so I couldn't read any of them or I just don't remember them. It wasn't really a timestamp though it was a countdown where the timestamp should be on a comment and it started at 10 seconds. Bizarre credit card statement from Chase! Why?

I originally did a balance transfer of some $13,500 in private student loans from Sallie Mae to my Chase credit card. Sallie Mae was charging me 14.9% variable and Chase offered me a weighted average interest rate of 4.22% fixed for life, so long as I make payments on-time. Well, I've been paying steadily and that balance has shrunk to $9,882.14. I remember my first minimum payments being in excess of $250. Now they have come down to less than $200. I still pay them a fixed $250 per month. But, this statement cycle I received a statement which said I had a minimum payment of $0! Yeah, that's right, ZERO. I immediately thought, "Huh? What the heck?". I figured that I had missed a payment or double-paid or something. I checked my account history and everything was okay.
